Secure your working environment with a structured workplace violence prevention program.

Employee training for workplace violence prevention

What we solve

Violence against employees is one of the greatest threats to a safe working environment. From violent patients in healthcare institutions, passengers in public transport and guests in tourist accommodation to customers in retail — organizations must protect their people.

For organizations that want to go a step further, we offer the Certified Workplace Violence Prevention Program. The certificate can be obtained by any organization that establishes an employee violence prevention system in line with our methodology. This is IVSR's own professional certification scheme: the certificate confirms that the organization has met the programme's published requirements, and it is not issued under a scheme accredited by an external accreditation body.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Certified Workplace Violence Prevention Program?
IVSR's own professional certification scheme, not an externally accredited certificate. It is available to any organization that establishes an employee violence prevention system following the IVSR methodology — from analyzing the incidence of violence to tailored measures and annual compliance verification.
What are the conditions for obtaining the certificate?
Safe infrastructure; adopted and implemented policies, protocols and instructions for recognizing, preventing and handling violence; a training program tailored to the risks of individual employee groups; and physical and technical security measures ensuring effective prevention and response.
How does certification work?
In three steps: an analysis of the incidence of violence and existing security measures, implementation of tailored and optimized prevention measures, and certification with annual compliance verification.
Do you also deliver individual measures without certification?
Yes. We deliver risk analyses and threat assessments, technical security, video surveillance and access control, protocols and instructions, employee training, secure communication channels and evacuation route design.
