Intelligence & investigative support
Information for safer business decisions
Before a partnership, investment or acquisition we examine the company, its ownership, its leadership and its business environment — focused on your specific questions.
Before a partnership, investment, acquisition or another significant transaction, leadership needs to understand who it is dealing with and what risks it is taking on. IVSR examines the company, its ownership, its leadership, related entities, reputation and business environment.
The review draws on publicly available sources, business records, media and professional publications and other lawfully obtained data. It is aimed at the client's concrete questions, not at collecting unrelated information — the questions the review must answer, and the risk criteria, are agreed at the outset.
Possible scope
The scope follows the questions the engagement must answer — not the other way round.
- 01Defining the questions the review must answer and the risk criteria.
- 02Review of ownership, governance, related persons and business connections.
- 03Verification of reputation, contested events, sanctions, insolvency and other warning signs.
- 04Review of potential conflicts of interest and of discrepancies between claims and available data.
- 05Assessment of country, industry, political and security circumstances.
- 06A clear separation between confirmed facts, professional assessments and data that could not be verified.
